Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Erin (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Erin is a personal and business finance application that helps you track income and expenses, manage business finances, calculate tax obligations, run payroll, and generate reports.

Erin is a tool to assist with financial management. It does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.

Eligibility

To use Erin, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.

Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, notify us of unauthorized access, and be responsible for all activity under your account.

Subscriptions and Payments

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually)
• Payment is processed by Paystack
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled

Cancellation

You may cancel anytime from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund policy for first-time subscribers. Contact support@erinafrica.com within 14 days of your first payment.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Erin for illegal purposes, upload fraudulent information, attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the Service, or reverse engineer the application.

Intellectual Property

Erin's design, code, and content are owned by us. You retain ownership of the data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and process your data as necessary.

Erin is a tool for financial organization, NOT a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and consulting professionals for financial, tax, or legal decisions.

Tax Calculations

Tax calculations are based on publicly available rates. Tax laws change and individual circumstances vary. Always verify with FIRS or a tax professional before filing.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
